DENVER, Nov. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Baby Einstein Company announced today the birth of triplets: Baby Neptune, Baby Webster and Baby Beethoven. Baby Shakespeare, developed for children ages 1 to 4, is a one-of-a-kind video designed to teach young children common vocabulary through the rhythm and cadence of Water.

"Baby Neptune is a completely unique product that follows our company's philosophy of introducing humanities to children," Julie Aigner-Clark, founder of The Baby Einstein Company, said. "We spent a lot of time choosing bath toys."

Baby Neptune also includes water photography by award-winning photographer J. D. Marston. The photos depict the word being taught through the water. "We included beautiful, quality photography because you don't often see that in children's books. And it's wonderful to be able to expose your child to artistic snapshots of the brilliant world around them," Aigner-Clark said. "These are images that parents can truly appreciate with their children."

A body of water, like Ocean, is introduced by hand-puppet Baby Neptune, a lovable, whimsical turtle who is the star of the show. The printed word appears on the screen and the voice of a child reads it. A Toy appears in graphic form, then in music video. The video also includes entertaining interludes with Beach illustrations, amusing professional puppetry, the music of Handel and silly sound effects.

The video, can be used together or separately. Like all products created by The Baby Einstein Company, Baby Neptune is designed for parents to use with their children. Says Aigner-Clark, "By pointing out objects and associating them with Water, parents are working with their child to go Fishing at a River or Lake."

Baby Webster, for kids ages 1 and up, are flash cards that feature images from the Baby Einstein, Baby Mozart and Baby Bach videos. The laminated cards are the size of a video slip case and sturdy enough to be baby-friendly. Each card features a photo of an object with the name of the object printed underneath. The other side of the card includes three teaching tips for parents and the word listed (with the phonetic pronunciations next to them) in six languages: Spanish, French, German, Hebrew, Japanese and Russian.

"Baby Webster extends the concept of using the videos as board books. Children can see objects in our videos then have them reinforced with the flashcards. The cards can certainly be used alone, but when used with the video, they're incredibly dynamic," Aigner-Clark said.

The last of the newest trio, Baby Beethoven, is a 30-minute compact disc with pieces by the classical composer arranged specially for little ears. "Most people, when they think of classical music, think of Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. We've already produced Baby Mozart and Baby Bach. Baby Beethoven was a natural accompaniment."
