My Life as a Einsteinketeer

Image
At 3 in this 2010 Shot I  was one of the 4 Girls of the 8 Kids over the Years we Filmed, to World of Rythmn on "Baby Einstein"  and to become, as a result, a part of TV history.     As we passed the midpoint of the 20th Century,  television and sundry other factors had begun to change our myths and heroes to things smaller than life as opposed to things larger  than life. Uncle Milty supplanted Clark Gable while Howdy Doody did in King Kong and King Lear. I was one of these smaller than life heroes. Whether I someday scale the Matterhorn or win my Pulitzer, I shall always be known as a Baby Einstein Kid.     I did not always feel this way.   The Kids from Baby Einstein and their Show   they starred in was a phenomenon that astounded almost everyone, including the canny creator, Julie Aigner Clark. Julie found a Venture in 1997 to Revive a 1970's Show starring Kids, starting in the First Video's Credits with her Daughter, Aspen.  "Baby Einstein" m

Playful Critters

Playful Critters was a Baby Einstein Toy that was on Baby Shakespeare during the "Rondo a Caprico"  Scene until sometime in 2004... When Baby Shakespeare was released on November 5 2000, the First Toy was actually the Dragon Puppet from Lengeds and Lore (Debut: Baby Mozart). As the Video did a "Rondo a Caprico" Music Video, we saw this. Currently this Toy is replaced by a Gear Shaped Playground Toy.

The Time i signed with Baby Einstein

Image
Image from  YouTube I hope everyone's been enjoying the Baby Einstein clips I've been uploading. I thought I would write about my experience signing with Baby Einstein. I signed a Contract to act starting with World Music, the 27th BE Video! I think I found out about It on babyeinstein.com or littleeinsteins.com. They had to chose a Famous Toddler, Denver isn't that far from us. They called the studio and found out when to go. It was at where they film Baby Einstein. I think they had us waiting in the same room they shoot the puppet shows on Baby Einstein, it looks a lot smaller in person. It was about the size of my kitchen and living room. They had us sign in and had merchandise we could buy like a Jane the Monkey Puppet. They also had a big screen TV in the corner playing Baby Bach, Lullaby Time, Baby Mozart, Neighborhood Animals, Baby Van Gogh, and classic clips from the 70's Baby Einstein. When they called me, i went into a hallway area. Here they had me do a f

Baby Mozart's 2008 Re-Release

Image
The Baby Einstein Company debuted the award-winning, animated home video release  Baby Mozart  ten years ago, and is marking the anniversary with a special edition release of the bestselling title, as well as companion piece  Baby Beethoven . Both will hit retail on Sept. 9, complete with expanded content and new bonus features. Baby Mozart was developed by Julie Clark, a mom and former teacher, with the goal of creating a product that would encourage discovery and interactive experiences for parents and their babies. The title’s popularity grew through word-of-mouth and is now a tool used by many parents to engage their children. Both  Baby Mozart  and  Baby Beethoven  have been digitally re-mastered and will feature a bonus feature titled ‘Together Time Tips.’ Narrated by Clark, the program will give parents tips on how to make DVD viewing an interactive and engaging experience for their children. Parents and childre can also experience the Discovery Cards bonus feature, which n

Baby Einstein Australia's Parent Stories

Baby Einstein Australia has these important Messages... Lisa and her husband use Baby Einstein videos to interact with Katie:  “My husband and I are amazed at the way that the Baby Einstein tapes engage and absorb our baby. These tapes seem to calm and fascinate her practically from the time that she was born up to her current age of two. The colours, shapes, letters and songs have encouraged our own interaction with her and we are convinced that she is learning much more easily because of the fun way that information is presented. Katie often asks us to put on 'my videos' and she makes sure that you don't get between her and the screen while they are on. We sing the songs and count and identify the colours and animals together.” Baby Van Gogh helps Jennifer's son to learn his colours:  “My 20-month-old son has adored Baby Mozart, Baby Newton and Baby Van Gogh for 5 months now. He lovingly refers to them as his 'show'. He watches a 'show' anywhere fr

2000 Parent Stories

In 2000, these were Baby Einstein's Parent Stories i found at Archive... "I received the Baby Einstein tape as a gift from my cousin. She told me how much her son loved watching this video. I could not believe that an infant would sit and watch a video. When I had my children there was no such thing. I exposed Micayla, my granddaughter to Baby Einstein at 1 week old. Her and I watch it at least 3 times a week. Baby Einstein is her favorite. I just have to say, "Micayla do you want to watch your Baby Einstein movie?" And she replies with a nod and claps her hands. She now is one year old and knows the video by heart. (And so do I) Thank you." - 2000-10-14 "I recently had to write to Julie and tell her Thanks first hand. I am utterly impressed with these creations! My girlfriend purchased 'Baby Mozart' for my son when he was 3&1/2 mo. old at the advice of a mutual friend. Her son was the same age as my son, and had been enjoying Baby Mozart

Why Baby Einstein is not Smart

Baby Einstein may be a Parody of In the Night Garden,  Waybuloo, or despite the Puppets might not say any Words at all, Teletubbies. But there's a Theory out there that Baby Einstein    is not good for little kids as it sets them back in social skills. Like how  Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men, which during it's debut in the 50's, was objected by parents because they thought the gibberish language in the show would set children back in skills.

Baby Einstein Blog

Hey everyone! This blog is about the 1997-2012 revival of the PBS kids VHS/DVD series Baby Einstein. I've been a huge fan of the show since I was five years old. Since it's almost been SIX  years  since the final season aired, I thought I would share my memories of Baby Einstein. I have Baby Mozart from 2002, and a Baby Shakespeare 2000 VHS which i lost. I first saw the show in season two when i read the Books. At a later time I saw it was on DVD and VHS and my Parents decided to watch it. I really liked it. The only problem was it was the First Show i watched and I usually thought it was Sesame Street, that video was Baby Monet: Discovering the Seasons 2005 DVD! It wasn't until a year later that I realized we got Baby MacDonald 2004 DVD and World Animals 2002 DVD and handed them to a 1 Year Old Girl named Fiona when i was Five. I was scared of Bard in World Music and the Cow in Baby Gaileo and Baby MacDonald. I got a real interest in it after i gave their Videos to Fi
